OUR COMMITMENT

Managing and minimizing the environmental impacts of our activities is part of the corporate identity inspired by the principles of environmental protection. At Streparava environmental management is closely connected and integrated with health and safety management, protecting the environment and people.

Environmental Management System, a voluntary international standard that defines how to develop an effective and sustainable Environmental Management System (EMS).

ENERGY CONSUMPTION, EMISSIONS REDUCTION, WASTE AND WATER MANAGEMENT

Streparava focuses on environmental issues, through projects aimed at waste reducing and raising employee awareness. Among the main initiatives currently ongoing:

• Installation of latest generation photovoltaic system; this plant will cover 40% of the plant's annual energy needs through self-generation
• Improvement of company separate waste collection system
• Installation of microfiltered water dispensers in the production departments and dining hall, with its associated plastic consumption reduction
• Collection system for cigarette stubs and recycling of this waste in the plastic industry

Carbon Disclosure Project

Streparava has made public information on the following:
Scope 1 – Emissions directly produced by the company,
Scope 2 – Indirect emissions derived from the purchase of electricity and energy for production
Scope 3 – Emissions produced by other sources.
