OBW (On-Board Weighing) systems allow the vehicle’s load to be weighed directly on-board, eliminating the need for external scales.
Streparava OBWE (Patent Pending) seamlessly integrates advanced data fusion techniques and AI algorithms to measure not only the vehicle and load mass, but also the weight distribution across the axles. The system ensures long-term accuracy thanks to advanced features such as anomaly and tampering detection, as well as automatic calibration.
This approach also streamlines assembly line operations by removing the need for complex and costly suspension characterization.
Thanks to the collaboration with the MADE Competence Center and the Move Research Team at the Politecnico di Milano, we have successfully completed the first development phase.
OBWE represents a concrete step toward the future of mechatronics and brings Streparava closer to the next generation of intelligent vehicles.
