When testing is carried out in-house alongside R&D and prototyping, information and experience move faster through the production chain and decisions can be made sooner: the strategic advantage becomes an operational one.
Streparava’s Testing Center reflects this approach: a laboratory integrated into the development process, carrying out tests, measurements and validation of components and systems, both internally and for third parties.
Types of tests and validation.
The Testing Center can carry out the following tests and measurements:
- mechanical fatigue testing
- individual components
- complex component systems
- complete axles/suspension systems
- road load signal reproduction
- measurements
- vehicle data acquisition and recording
- functional testing of engine valvetrains, with high-frequency valve lift measurements
- strain gauge measurements
- integrity checks using liquid penetrant inspection
- qualification, validation and maintenance of conformity
The Testing Center is involved at every stage of the production chain: during product development, at every technical validation stage and at the start of industrialisation and production. Every test provides greater insight into a component’s behaviour, its long-term reliability and its ability to maintain the required performance.
Accredited laboratory.
The Testing Center has been accredited by Accredia since 2014 under UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025 for automotive steering arm testing.
This accreditation confirms the laboratory’s expertise, impartiality and independence, as well as the reliability of its results, with international recognition.
Third-party testing services.
The Testing Center also serves external customers and partners, giving them access not only to specialist equipment and expertise but also to the wider Streparava organisation.
