Turning an idea into reality means confronting friction, tolerances, materials and machining times. This is what happens during prototyping: the idea moves beyond theory, takes shape and begins to be tested against applications, manufacturing processes and industrial constraints. To establish what really works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Streparava, every prototype is designed to test something.
Alpha prototypes are used to assess a component\u2019s performance, feasibility and behaviour. Beta and gamma prototypes take the design towards production: they test machining operations, assembly and manufacturing solutions before series production begins.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

From development to production<\/strong>.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Prototyping is managed in-house by a dedicated division that acts as a bridge to manufacturing: it passes on to production the lessons learned from testing, machining and resolving problems during development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every stage, starting with the first prototype, builds knowledge and reduces uncertainty. The product therefore enters series production with an established level of technical and manufacturing maturity.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Technologies and processes<\/strong>.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the prototype workshop, speed and precision go hand in hand. Here, samples, proofs of concept and small production runs take shape using a range of technologies and processes, from machining from solid stock to additive manufacturing, and from rapid prototyping to machining on modern CNC equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop has 3-axis and 5-axis machining centres, CNC lathes and milling machines and surface grinding machines, giving it the operational flexibility to meet different production requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is a prototype today will become a competitive advantage tomorrow. That\u2019s why all activities take place in controlled-access environments, with processes that meet TISAX requirements for protecting data and sensitive information. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
